Harrison, was born in the small town of Columbiana, Alabama.  During his years in Columbiana, Mr. Harrison practiced law for forty-five years.  He also served a s President and Chairman of the Board of First National Bank of Shelby County for seventeen years, and in the Alabama legislature for twelve years.  Mr. Harrison's literary accomplishments have been recognized through publication in the New York Times, The Nation of New York and the Sewanee Review, Sewanee, Tennessee.
